Where we are

A Kannur base, and a region we know well

Ayanam Holidays works from Azhikode, Kannur, on the Malabar coast of northern Kerala. We plan journeys across the state and the rest of India, with the deepest knowledge closest to home: Kannur, Kasaragod, Wayanad and Kozhikode — and the backwaters, beaches, forests and ritual traditions that shape journeys here.

When you write to us, tell us the dates you have in mind, who is travelling and what the journey is for. If you are still at the dreaming stage, that is a good place to start — we will help you narrow the options before anything is fixed.

We plan around the season as well. The coast, the backwaters and the hills each have their own best months, so if your dates are fixed we will tell you what that means for the places on your list; if they are open, we will suggest when to come.
